Sakura Flower Vase - HDCB02 From the Cherry Blossoms Collection

A simple and elegant flower vase inspired by Hanami, the Japanese Spring Festival celebrating the blooming of cherry trees. The files include an optional watertight sleeve and retaining collar, which allow you to print the vase in PLA and even change materials during printing, without worrying about leaks. Although it also works in PLA, the watertight sleeve is best printed in ABS, which improves its durability. Check out our Cherry Blossoms Collection for companion products.

Objects in the photographs were printed on a standard desktop 3D printer, without secondary operations. The stripes in some of the photographs were achieved by switching materials during printing.

Watertight Sleeve: Nozzle: 0.4 (Keep nozzle temperature high to improve layer adhesion. If your material specs are for example 220º-240º, set it for 240º or 245º) Layer: 0.15 Bottom layers: 6 Wall loops/line count: 5 (The walls need to be solid. It is best to print the sleeve with 5 wall loops rather than just a 100% infill, this assures the walls have a 100% infill but are also constructed by parallel loops) Supports: NO Scalable: NO (You can find scalable watertight sleeves in our Infinite Containers 68 Series. Tested with: ABS recommended, also works in PLA
