Inspired by the Las Vegas Sphere.
Basically the artwork consists of multiple spheres of 50mm in variable heights. Depending on how you arrange them you can create mesmerizing wave illusions that captivatingly adds depth to your interior design. The spheres are simply glued to a thick hardboard base.
I used: 2x sphere 50 +15 6x sphere 50 +10 10x sphere 50 +5 14x sphere 50 17x sphere 50 -5 10x sphere 50 -10 2x sphere 50 -15
I placed the +15 ones in opposite corners and worked my way down in concentric pattern. I included the whole model as .stl, so you can take a look at it. For marking the positions I used a compass. My cardboard had a width of 700mm. The frame is made from half-round wood rods from the hardware store.
Recommended settings: variable layer height enabled 2 walls 5% infill
