CHOIS Saw Guide & Saw Guide Ring - Free

A 3D-printed cutting jig for the CHOIS modular furniture system. Holds your dowel in place so you can cut cleanly every time - no clamp needed.

Two cut modes:

• 90deg / Square cut: for standard cross-cuts
• Angled cut: for leg angles when resting dowels directly on the floor without end caps

Slide your dowel into the circular channel and run your saw along the guide wall.

This file includes two parts:

saw_guide.stl The main jig. Holds the dowel and guides your saw.

saw_guide_ring.stl A cylindrical collar that slides onto the dowel. Use it two ways:

• Mark your cut line by running a pencil along the edge of the ring
• Place it under the far end of the dowel to match the height of the Saw Guide, keeping the dowel level during cutting

Compatible dowel size

Designed for 32mm dowels (snug fit). 30mm dowels also work with a slightly looser fit.

Saw compatibility

Kerf width up to 0.8mm. The guide slot is 0.8mm - thicker saw blades can be used - the slot will widen naturally as you cut.

Note: A tape measure is still needed to mark your cut length before using this guide.

• Material: PLA or PETG
• Infill: 15% (default)
