Wacky Waving Inflatable Lightsaber
The wack is strong with this one.
I built this using one of those handheld air blasters like this one: https://hydrayne.com/austin-763 (theres a million rebranded versions like this, I'm assuming they're all built the same on the inside probably). This will probably be easier to build after watching me build one, so I'm working on a build video. I'll add that here when available. Otherwise, heres the basic steps:
Files that end in S need to be printed in silver, then B for black. You'll need to take apart the air blaster and cut the wires to the main blower motor so you can extend them about 1 inch longer or so. From there, everything slides inside. You'll first push the blower through the activator section, then slide the main pcb into place. Plug the charging pcb into the main board, then push the charging board into the handle, followed by the motor. The battery can then slide into the top half of the hilt. Now everything can glue into place, aside from the shroud and plug. You'll need to cut out 2 strips of parachute material roughly 2.5in wide (with 3/8 seam allowance on both sides) and as long as you want your blade to be- mine is 33in. You can also cut out and add some optional arms. This all gets sewn together into an open tube, then turned inside out. Slide the tube through the shroud, push the plug into the tube, then pull the shroud down, locking the tube in place. You can now glue the shroud onto the hilt.
