I'm a mom of three & wife who craves a little creativity everyday β˜€οΈ I bought my first 3D printer in 2017 and haven't looked back since:) I am always experimenting with ideas and love the challenge of making them come to life. I enjoy making designs that are fun, playful - and sometimes have an element of surprise. I also love incorporating other materials into 3D printing - from magnets, to fabric, elastic cord and more because the options are endless!! 😊

These oversized, two-sided letter beads are meant to stand out:) I designed two sets: one for vertical stringing and one for horizontal stringing. Perfect for making keychains, luggage tags, or chunky necklaces πŸ˜‚

Update 8/7/24 I added a new 3mf file for Flat (non-engraved) Big Letter Beads after receiving feedback that my original design didn't always print neatly (particularly the bottom side of the bead). I also changed the layer height to 0.20mm for this print profile:)

****Update ****9/21/24 I added a new 3mf file that should be used if you want to enlarge the beads. This file is called: Flat Big Letter Beads (Updated for Enlarging). I did this because I printed some beads at 600% and found I had some 'floating' areas. I adjusted the file to fix this issue.

How to Print: PLA works great Layer Height 0.16mm (0.2mm for Flat Big Letter Beads) Infill 15% No supports needed

Dimensions of beads: 1 inch diameter x β…“ inch thick Note: Beads can be scaled smaller (for longer names I scaled them down to 85% but you can go smaller)

To create a two color print, select one of the attached 3mf files:)

Other items you will need to make the keychains like the one in my photos: Elastic cord (1mm or 1.2mm thick recommended) Tassels Metal Keychain Clasp

Here is an Amazon link to this items if you need them: https://amzn.to/3Ldu0FD

How to print: You can use the letters on the plate you need and delete the ones you don’t need but I like to keep the entire alphabet on each print plate and copy/paste the letters I need onto a third print plate.

How to assemble the keychains: Secure the elastic string or cord to the metal clasp and thread letters on. Stretch the elastic string to make it a little tight and then tie the tassel onto the end.

Have fun printing!
