Mori - Forma Vase Collection

Design & Concept: I designed the Mori vase to capture the essence of organic movement through digital precision. The name "Mori" means forest in Japanese, reflecting the vertical, bark-like ridges that flow around its spiraling form. This design creates a complex interplay of light and shadow, making the surface appear to shift as you move around it. By utilizing Fuzzy Skin settings alongside the fine-lined geometry, the vase takes on a premium, stone-carved appearance. This combination of textures masks layer lines perfectly, resulting in a high-end sculptural piece that looks and feels like a handcrafted gallery object rather than a traditional 3D print.

Key Features: Organic Helical Form: A graceful, twisting body that balances structural integrity with a sense of natural flow. Micro-Ribbed Texture: Fine vertical ridges that add a sophisticated tactile depth and emphasize the model’s unique curves. Modern Zen Aesthetic: Its calm, balanced silhouette makes it an ideal addition to minimalist or contemporary interiors. Versatile Decor: Stunning as a standalone sculpture or as a unique vessel for air plants and dried arrangements.

Hardware Required: None. This is a single, fully 3D printed sculptural model.

Printing Recommendations: Material: Matte Moss Green (as shown) or Stone Grey PLA is highly recommended to accentuate the forest-inspired theme. Layer Height: 0.16mm or 0.20mm; the texture settings will ensure a seamless and professional surface. Infill: 10–15% Gyroid. Walls: 3 Walls for a sturdy, high-quality feel. Supports: To ensure the best results, I have included a pre-configured .3mf file with custom support blockers and enforcers. I highly recommend using this file, as the only necessary supports are the ones already placed and optimized within the project to guarantee a clean finish with minimal material waste.
