I’m Simona, a mechanical engineer who always dreamed of becoming a home decor designer. 3D printing made that dream possible. I love exploring geometry to create unique shapes - vases, planters, organizers, lamps and home decor that are both functional and aesthetic.
I design useful and enjoyable products for your home 😊
I try to re-imagine everyday items in a more practical, fun or nature-inspired way so you can craft cool stuff that you or others might need.

Hi everyone! Thanks for visiting my page :)
I am educated as an architect and urban designer, but due to the feelings of impending doom and the crushing reality of a 9 to 5, I am trying to be the best sculptural artist that I can be.
To talk about my work, there is so much to share that I don't really know where to start. I guess I'll start with a general preface note: THESE ARE NOT YOUR AVERAGE 3D PRINT PROJECTS. They take time, materials, a well-working printer, and an appreciation for the process and story.
My work is influenced by esoteric, spiritual sciences, as they are an artistic representation of metaphysical patterns, and the flow of intelligent energy. Each piece can be used as a talisman, a focus point for meditation, part of an altar, an energy balancer for a space, or just a really dope light sculpture.
Now to describe my unique detail style - Vertical extrusions profiled to a 3D shape. During some modeling for an architecture studio, I fell in love with the aesthetic, and found out that they created an incredibly light diffusion effect. The style works exceptionally well with the patterns that I use. I have a custom script for snowflaking/fractalizing city plans, but i also use pleasing geometric patterns based on intense math formulas, and spiritual/metaphysical imagery/symbols/patterns. The profiled, patterned extrusions create incredible psychedelic visuals when assembled.
You can learn about the discovery of this process with the pinned video on my instagram.
Now, since I made that video, I really wanted to take my detail style maximize the potential. I know have added 2 new assembly techniques for this style: Outward Facing, and Polyhedron. There is more information about all of my styles on my website, and as of right now I am only uploading the original "Stacking" designs and the new "Polyhedron" designs, as the outward ones need some extra polishing. Essentially, I was the first person to develop this detailing technique, and I pushed to cover the best potentials of it with these assembly techniques.
What I think is the most MINDBLOWING aspect to my work is the geometric discovery used for my Polyhedron assembly style. I literally discovered a NEW CLASS OF SHAPES with my design script that I developed for this assembly technique.... Okay so i think i have, and so do the math professors I have been talking to. We are working on publishing the discovery, and I'll make sure to detail it on my website when it is ready. Basically, my script takes a seed shape (polyhedron) and uses the existing nature of that shape to generate a new shape, similar to the concept of greatening or stellateing, but it is even cooler because it creates shapes that are closed. The fact that I am just an architect who made this discovery is my favorite aspect, and i hope you can appreciate how freaking cool that is!
Now, to quickly mention the purpose and the idea behind this page: I first committed to building this work to be solely fine art, but as I went through that process, I realized the purpose of my art was meant to be shared, not gatekept and sold to the highest bidder. I could just create molds and make these out of glass, but i want to focus on sharing these designs with the world. This is the best way of doing so! I wanted to make them accessible to people. I want to share the beauty! The price is definitely high for STL models, but the prints take a significant amount of time, they are large, they are multi-part, the design process took me 4 years to refine, you don't need 50 of them, each one comes with a comprehensive supplementary document set that tells you everything you need to know about them, AND I want to do this full time :)

I'm a designer and passionate about the 3D universe. I create models inspired by minimalist, functional, and sustainable forms, always seeking to combine aesthetics and practicality.
My projects are designed to consume as little filament as possible and, most of the time, dispense with the use of supports to facilitate printing and reduce waste. When supports are necessary, I try to keep them simple and minimal.
Each creation is born with a focus on beauty, efficiency, and a cleaner, more accessible printing experience.
