QALB – System 01 / Linja

Qalb (meaning heart) is a sculptural 3D-printable lampshade defined by flowing vertical ribs that wrap around a gently curved volume. The form feels organic yet controlled, a balance between softness and structure.

The rhythmic “linja” texture diffuses light beautifully, creating subtle shadows and a warm ambient glow. When illuminated, the ribs come alive, enhancing depth and emphasizing the layered geometry. When off, Qalb stands as a minimalist object, calm, refined, and architectural.

The silhouette is slightly compressed and rounded, giving it a grounded presence while maintaining visual lightness. It pairs beautifully with both modern interiors and natural materials, especially when combined with warm bulbs and matte finishes.

Designed with additive manufacturing in mind, Qalb celebrates layer lines rather than hiding them, turning the printing process into part of the aesthetic language.
