Let's call this the start of my Retro Gaming series :)
Super Metroid print for a hit of nostalgia, for those of you who played this!
This print uses a total of 7 colours, so it is infinitely easier for those with an AMS (or two!) but it is wholly unnecessary. It just means you'll have to babysit the print and swap spools when the right time comes.
The included 3MF will have all the swaps loaded in already for Bambu Studio users, while the STL is provided for those who do not use it. Just follow the instructions below:
Print Instructions Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.04mm with a base layer of 0.2mm
The Model is 240x183.64mm in size You may print at higher layer heights below the Min Depth of 0.6mm The Max Depth is 2mm and the Actual Depth is 2mm
Filaments Used:
- PLA Kingroon Black Transmission Distance: 0.4
- PLA+ Overture Dark Blue Transmission Distance: 4
- PLA TECOR Light Blue Transmission Distance: 3.5
- PLA BambuLab Basic BambuLab Green Transmission Distance: 1.2
- PLA Kingroon White Transmission Distance: 5.8
- PLA BambuLab Matte Dark Red Transmission Distance: 1.5
- PLA CC3D Lemon Yellow Transmission Distance: 6.8
This print uses 7 unique filaments
Swap Instructions:
- Start with Black
- At layer #12 (0.64mm) swap to Dark Blue
- At layer #19 (0.92mm) swap to Light Blue
- At layer #22 (1.04mm) swap to BambuLab Green
- At layer #23 (1.08mm) swap to White
- At layer #28 (1.28mm) swap to Dark Red
- At layer #38 (1.68mm) swap to Lemon Yellow for the rest.
