It took a really really long time to get these wings perfect. But here they are! A pair of angel wing bookends to complement the Bat Wing bookends that I released a few months back.
I've printed them in Silk PLA and PETG Translucent and they look glorious. The images attached are the ones in Pearl White Silk PLA.
It's a fairly easy print, so you can use your normal settings. Here are the ones I used:
- 0.2mm layer height
- 8% Cross Hatch infill
- 4 walls
- 3 tops and 3 bottoms
- Arachne walls
- Supports: Tree Organic, 0.32mm top and bottom Z interface distance
If you plan on printing in silk, I also recommend reducing your outer wall speed so the shine is even throughout the entire print. I slowed my printing down to about 100mm/s outer walls for this.
Have fun!
