Parametric Wall Decor V4
This is the largest and most ambitious parametric model I’ve released to date. Originally designed for a CNC router on a 4x8 foot bed, this model has been reworked specifically for 3D printing at the request of a fellow maker who is currently bringing the final, full-scale product to life! The original, full-scale piece is an absolute behemoth measuring 3.36 x 1.68 x 0.18 meters. It requires some really serious dedication, workspace, and a ton of filament 98 individual locking pieces and around 1kg of filament per piece depending on settings (Nearly 100kg of filament in total!)
I know a 100-kilo print isn't feasible for everyone! To make sure anyone can enjoy this design, I’ve included several scaled-down versions and might release more in the next days 120x60x8cm and another one measuring 80x40x6.5cm.
All designs use a French cleat system a simple base you print. It is simply the easiest and safest way to mount the parts, allowing you to easily remove them for cleaning or adjustments. For a project of this massive scale, traditional interlocking pieces can become incredibly difficult to align and mount.
There are four models included in total: Behemoth: 3.36 x 1.68 x 0.18 meters • Details: 98 individual pieces, nearly 100kg total. • Printer Requirement: Designed for 24x24 cm (240x240 mm) print beds.
Medium: 120 x 60 x 8 cm • Details: 18 individual pieces, 8–12kg total. • Printer Requirement: Designed for 20x20 cm (200x200 mm) print beds.
Small: 80 x 40 x 6.5 cm • Details: 8 individual pieces, 3.5–5kg total. • Printer Requirement: Designed for 20x20 cm (200x200 mm) print beds.
Solid Model: A single, undivided file is also included for makers who want to print miniature copies, experiment with custom variations, or slice it themselves.
