Organic Parametric Shelf Series V3 by Arcforms — This is the third shelf design for 3D printers. Based on the feedback I received; I aimed to make this shelf as simple as possible to 3D print. It is divided into six sections and uses six wall mounts featuring a French cleat mounting system.

After a successful debut in the CNC and laser cutting niche, I decided to expand and modify the files to work with 3D printers. I designed this shelf with a modern, organic aesthetic and a parametric structure, combining elegance and functionality to elevate any space with a unique, sculptural form. Over the years, I've created numerous parametric designs, and I thought it would be great to make these designs available for 3D printing. More similar designs will be available soon. – Jurgien, Arcforms Designer"

Description

This shelf is separated into 8 sections, all fitting a 20x20 cm print area. You can scale the model as much as you like. Making it larger or smaller.

This model features French cleats, ensuring a simpler and more convenient assembly process. Assembly requires 16 M5 screws to secure the wall mounts and glue to attach the shelf pieces to the mount. You can scale the files as desired. Feel free to contact us if you have any requests to modify them.

Dimensions

The files are scalable to any size you prefer. Scale the files in Z axis to make the shelf area bigger.

The Current size available with the files is: 160 x 25 x 13.5 cm or 62.99 x 9.84 x 5.31 Inches. You will need 2.5-2.8kg of filament depending on the wall thickness and infill.

Scaling the files to fit a 30x30cm area will result in a product measuring 240 x 37.5 x 20 cm or 94.49 x 14.76 x 7.87 Inches.

Thank you for your reply. Wouldn’t be possible to modify/give it a try with this model to easing my life 😊 ? Honestly, this is my point of concern with the building of the shelf. Kindly appreciate

I wonder if you could design a connection between each 2 section in order to have them properly aligned as they will click together. I understand glue would be required to have intersection stick together. I mean some sort of connector like puzzle part. I could do with my slicer however it's difficult to have to correct positionning between 2 section

Thank you dkberclaz74 That's not a bad idea! I might give it a try in my next set of shelf files.

What is the proper method of assembling the full shelf once all pieces are complete? I am on piece 6 of 8 and still haven't found a good way to assemble them other than sanding and glue. Some similar models on Makerworld have dovetails that allow you to snap the pieces together. That would be ideal for sure. Also not quite sure on how you are supposed to properly locate your french cleats on the wall in order to keep everything level and in-line.
