Tile for the board game Hextraction that features a flexible TPU tube that can be moved to any of three different positions!

Rules: Setup: Put the tube in one of the three slots. Trigger: Move the tube to a different slot. On ball fall through back: Move the tube to the slot the ball fell from.

Helpful Rules Clarifications:

• The triggered effect triggers from a ball entering the tube.
  • If the ball gets stuck in the tube, you still move the tube. If this gets the ball rolling again, it counts as your ball for triggering effects and scoring.
• Moving the tube is mandatory and you have to move it to a different slot than the one it is currently in.
  • Move the tube only once all balls have settled.
  • If the tube was triggered more than once in a turn (such as from a sozu tile) you may move the tube multiple times. This could allow you to put the tube back where it was at the start of the turn.
• When setting up or moving the tube, you have to press it down firmly so it creates a good path through. You can't intentionally place the tube so the ball will get stuck.

Required Materials:

• Glue (I used 2-part epoxy)
• TPU Filament

Printing: Print the base and tube cap using a solid filament. Supports are optional but recommended for the base.

Print the tube using TPU filament. TPU is very stringy so you want to minimize travel actions that pass through the middle of the tube. Otherwise you will have tons of debris inside the tube you will have to painstakingly clean out. I included a version of the tube with "travel towers" which persuade the slicer into putting travel moves elsewhere.

Assembly:

1. Clean out any debris inside the tube so the ball rolls through cleanly even when bent.
2. Each end of the tube has a flat part with no notches. Glue the end of the tube with the shorter flat part into the tube cap. Wait for the glue to fully set.
3. Glue other end of the tube into the body beneath the star.
