- Notes:
• The holes in the bottom fit 1.75mm filament which are used for the "legs". No glue is required.
• I used Apple Barrel Matte "Bright Yellow" and "Black" acrylic paint for the beaks and eyes in the models shown above. The models were sprayed with a glossy clear coat to make them look more "plastic" though this is not a necessary step.
• Supports are a MUST for the beak! However, you do not need to support the holes in the bottom.
• Please note that in testing, the beak would break off the supports at 0.1mm layer height. When increasing the height to 0.15mm (and even 0.2mm) the beak did fine.
• Additionally when printing the "Support Top Distance" in Cura was set to 0.0mm. The supports were still easy to remove and the print required only a little additional cleaning.
