Painting Tip: For those who wish to paint the model, I used only three paint colours. Start with a full Raw Umber undercoat. Once dry, lightly dry brush the orb with Raw Umber or Pale Gold to soften the harsh white appearance while still allowing the light to glow through.

Finish by dry brushing Pale Gold over the moon, chain, and all raised edges to bring out the details. For the brightest highlights, apply a small amount of White first, then lightly blend over it with Pale Gold. I also used this technique on the orb to create a warmer, more natural illuminated look.

• Print in white or light-colored filament for maximum glow effect
