Spinning Switch Storage - Intermediate
This spinning switch storage container is super fun, practical, and can now also be used as a travel case. This version has an included lid that can store into the base, so it's out of the way when you don't need it, but is right there to use as the lid when you're traveling.

Where can I watch assembly video?
The Assembly Video is on the page now. Scroll to the right through the photos and you'll see it
I seem to be struggling with this as I have printed to specs and followed the video but its ether missing half the magnets as I spin it or it launch's it right out of the device. 608zz bearing and 5x3mm nedym magnets
glue on the circle disc thing the magnets fall out through there and repel each other for the same reason... Just try if you haven't still.
Having the same issue!
Where does the 58mm anti-slip silicone go?
On the Lid, But its totally optional!
This has so much potential for all kinds of dispensers. Colored pencils to Drill Bit kits, to Bullets.
Hi, I printed this one. It looks great but the issue is that the base does not snap and easily falls out. I tried pressing it with more force as a comment below suggested but it still did not snap together. I unfortunately ran out of downloads to try the other versions you have listed and was wondering if you knew how to fix this issue with this version?
If they aren't holding together fully, even when applying pressure. I would suggest adding a few dots of superglue to the inner peg/post. Just be sure not to glue the bearing down fully. You only want a few drops on the innermost wall of the bearing that touches the post.
It seems that the model needs a slight modification. The bearing at the top needs to be inserted a bit deeper. With the current model, the distance between the magnets feels slightly far to perfectly lift a Nintendo cartridge (3.5g).
Hi! I’m not sure what you mean about the magnets being too far. Are you following the instructions we have made? Or could you further elaborate on what is going on.
the parts aren't snapping together
Hi! Is the fit of the peg too tight? Which part are you having trouble with?
the pieces fit together well but theres a gap
There should be a small gap, the gap allows it to spin without rubbing.
If the gap seems like its larger than in the photos make sure you have pressed it all the way together with a little more force
Can you make the top available in the model download? It wasn't included in the zip file.
Hi! I just checked and its included. Please double check your zip or re-dowload. There are 4 files (Base, Disc, Lid, and Top)
It was my error. I downloaded the version you have listed without the lid. Didn't realize there were two versions on the site.
