Disguised as a book This design blends in on your bookshelf or table. But when you're ready to play, turn the page and you're playing Mancala. The book folds open longways to become the board. And all the pieces are stored within it!
Easy Storage Since this looks like an book when you're not playing. You can store it anywhere. And since the covers hold together with magnets, all your pieces are secure inside. Just open the book to play, and shut the book to put it away.

This idea is fantastic. How can I get in touch with the author?
You just did! Any questions?
I ran into an issue of the two sides coming apart after opening and closing...it's because the rounded edges of the book aren't rounded enough so they rub against each other. I adjust the thickness(Z) of the hinges to 4.86mm and the height(Y) to 35.79mm. It leaves a little gap I don't like but works.
Hi, Great design, and I love the game! However, I have a question on the hinge tolerance for the spine of the "book". I cannot get the hinges to move properly, and broke the hinges upon trying to flex them. Do you have any advice?
I had the exact same problem. I believe the issue was the thickness of the hinge was rubbing on the sides. I modified mine to be 90% thickness to give it more leeway and that fixed it!
