The backplate part that came with my Zalman CNPS17X CPU cooler broke. So here's a spacer that makes the original AM4 backplate compatible with the Zalman cooler. It's height should be approx 2.6mm - make sure to check your tolerances as the cooler comes with electrically insulating washers. (or print your own!)

Mounting is simple: Put it on top of the original backplate and then screw the hardware that came with the zalman cooler into place. Make sure there's little to no "give" and the part sits properly supported against the motherboard.

Recommended print settings: PETG-CF or similar functional filament 0.2mm layerheight 3 walls / top and bottom layers 30% infill of your choice
