These panels are designed to be printed in “vase” or “spiralized” mode to minimize the amount of material needed, decrease print time, and give a smooth clean finish. They could be used as sound diffusion panels, decorations, or just to show off your new gradient filament!

This download includes two sizes of panels with 100mm or 200mm edge lengths. There are two mirrored versions of each panel. See here to learn more about the Hilbert Curve and how to properly orient the tiles: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hilbert_curve

Be sure to print in “vase” or “spiralized” mode! The base is 0.5mm thick. I recommend adjusting your settings so that the base prints in only two layers.

When printed with a 0.5mm nozzle as described above, the 100mm and 200mm panels use only 28g and 111g of filament respectively.

These panels work better as sound diffusion panels due to taller features and sharper angles. The “Minimal Height” panels below don’t work as well as sound diffusion panels but use less material.
