A “Cabochon” is a gemstone that has been shaped and polished, as opposed to faceted.

The “gemstones” in these bracelets are captive, meaning that once printed they rotate freely within the band.
This design is particularly suited to printing with multicolour filament as rotating the gemstones allows for visualization of the different filament colours.
Once printed, allow the print to cool. Wiggle each gem back and forth until it breaks from the small internal supports. Twist it a few times until it turns smoothly.
Setting your “Z Seam Alignment” to “Random” will prevent a visible seam on the contoured surface of the “gemstone.”
