It seems like everyone's go to thing to both design & print when they start getting into 3d printing is a phone stand. It was mine as well. One of my fist models here on Thangs was our "Wave" phone stand.
The problem is they always end up looking cheap and felling cheap because of the lack of weight when 3d printing.
Our new Magsafe Phone stand aims to solve this. The multi piece design ads depth to the stand (and improve printing time) and the hallow base, allowing you to adds weight gives it that heavy feel that we all associate with "premium".
The only body that needs supports is the magsafe plate and its very minimal.

Infill 15% adaptive Cubic

Layer Height 0.2
Supports Magsafe plate & Base
For the plate that hides the cord we used 5x2 mm magnets which you can see Here
For the weight we used 1/8" ball bearings which you can see Here . To be honest they worked but I think some bigger ones would probably do better.
The bottom plate is held in place with 4, M3 Hex Socket Screws. M3 is a common size within 3d printing so I just bought this variety set.
