This dodecahedron-shaped box with a snap on lid.
Printing
- Requires good tuning for a nice fit. No supports needed.
- Experiment with adding a slight fuzzy skin for a pleasant surface finish.
- You may get a faster lid print by increasing perimeter walls from 2 to 3 or 4.
Style Options
- Plain - Just the basics. Good for adding your own designs
- Numbers - Matches a 12-sided die. Not perfectly balanced, though.
Clearance options
- Loose - Easier to take off the lid… whether you want to or not.
- Tight - Lid requires a little effort to remove.
- Tight - More secure. Lid requires a little prying to remove.
- Impossibly Tight - Do you have a hammer?
How to Close Set lid on base and push all 5 lid corners down until they snap into place.
How to Open
Method 1 Hold base in one hand with thumb resting on the gap between the base and the lid. Using other hand, pull the lid open in a sweeping motion, like opening a clam shell.
Method 2 Squeeze the base so the latches disengage from the lid.
Method 3 For the “Impossibly Tight” version of this box, use tools to pry the lid off.
