As you've probably guessed from my other prints, I favour deeper Hueforge models (4 to 5mm), which I think offers more scope when attempting a greater number of colours and tonal variation. Yes the print time is longer but the end results are often worth the journey.
The Feathered War Bonnet is an extraordinary looking print. It uses 11 different colours with some colours being swapped in twice at different layer intervals to help achieve a convincing colour pop in the feathers as well as a more defining segregation of colours that is often difficult to attain with Hueforge layering (at least prior to the Colour Aware function).
If you need to reduce the number of colours, you can skip the Yellow, Blue and Latte-Brown and still achieve an amazing looking print. I just like the yellow feather highlights and the little splash of blue in the background. Frame not included.
Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.08mm with a base layer of 0.16mm
The Model is 233x233mm in size. The Max Depth is 4.5mm and the Actual Depth is 4.5mm.
