This spool holder is designed for printers that have a 2020 T-Slot Profile aluminum extrusion frame along the top. The holder is slightly angled so the filament spools off to the side and around the printer.

Installation on most printers will require you to remove the screws connecting the top beam to one side of the printer frame so you can slip the 'spooltop.stl' in the T-slots. I removed the decorative blue vinyl and cut it to fit on both sides of the holder. This looks clean and helps hold the holder in position.

I've also included a Filament Loop that guides the filament towards the extruder. It replaces the endcap and is held in place with one of the frame screws. It's optional, but helps prevent snapping of brittle filaments.

The spool top is compatible with my Sturdy Simple Spool Holder

You should be fine printing with 3 shells and 15% infill. 0.1-0.2mm layer height. No supports required!
