Sorting Hat Lamp
Be proud of your house and light this sorting hat with your house's color! You can print with a material of your houses color, or you can print with a neutral color and choose the color from the RGB Light.
Light Source: You can use both: Remote Controlled 16-color RGBW Puck Lights LED Lamp Kit Collection
Disclaimer: I printed with the Mellow Yellow Translucent PLA (I am a Hufflepuff) and Sunflower Basic PLA, but the other colors were only generated digitally. However my wife (she is a Slytherin) doesn't mind having the yellow print and lighting with green light inside.
Filament: Translucent PLA, Choose the Translucent PLA Profile. Normal PLA, Works better with bright colors, don't use dark colors. Choose the Normal PLA Profile.
Print Setting: I provided Bambu Studio Sliced and Ready files, use them.
- If you want to slice it yourself, here are the settings: Create a Height Modifier, starting from 10 mm to 150 mm or more. Make it 0% infill, 4 Walls (you can change that but I found the thick version shows better the features of the hat), 0 Bottom Shell Layers, Disable “Ensure Vertical Shell Thickness” to get smooth walls.
- Use Adaptive Layer Height to get more details were needed.
- No Support Needed.
I used Image-to-3D from MakerWorld at a certain stage of this model making.
