This is an ornate octagonal puzzle box.
It has a slider that fits into the base which you push out to release the lid.
Print the base with supports touching buildplate, just for the groove underneath.

wow looks amazing, can i ask what colour filament was used please?
I have successfully printed your Ornate Puzzle Box. Thank you for the beautiful design. I can’t get it put together. If I put the slider in, I can’t get the top to go down all the way. If I put the top on, I can’t get the slider in. Help please. Thank you Omniderb
After some experimentation I could print the lid perfectly in PLA by using a 65 degree bed, 220 degree nozzle, 0.2 (or more) layer height (not less), and a 50% print speed for the first 6 layers, no support. Bambu X1C, PLA Cold Plate (at 65 degrees), and Bambu Labs Onyx Sparkle PLA. "All Top Surfaces" ironing adds a nice finish.
can's get the top to print. I tried face up with a brim and organic supports but, after many hours and about 50%+ completed, it failed. It could not stay attached to the PEI plate.
Can’t get the top to print well oriented face down on my PEI plate. When I put it on a raft face down, it also looks bad. I’m pretty sure it would come out nice if I could print it with the top facing up. But the side pieces make it so I’d need a lot of support. Any suggestions?
