A fragmented skull suspended in a string frame.

Print at 0.24mm layer height without supports

If using Bambu Studio make sure your wall generator is set to Arachne

If using Cura make sure 'print thin walls' is checked.

If you want to print a larger version scale up in all axes to 125% and print at 0.3mm layer height.

The one in the photograph is the original model with the top 4 layers printed in black using a filament swap. I have also added an 'easy print' version with a simple, solid first layer if you think your printer might struggle with the complexity of the first layer.

Looks great! I have been able to print all other string art pieces successfully, but this failed completely, and all strings started to break. I cancelled the print. Since I don't have a Bambu printer with 0.24mm layer height, for my Prusa MK3S+ I scaled up 125% and used 0.3mm layer height. The slicer output looks fine. Will try different filament.

Do you print it laying down like in the second pic or standing up like in the first picture?
