Compact Print-in-place Reversible Tablet - Phone Stand

This stand is designed to be extremely sturdy, compact, and portable. Collapsing into a self-contained flat profile, you can easily slide this into a laptop bag, briefcase, purse, or even a pocket.

Maintaining a `.4mm` gap around articulating joints, this design prints entirely in-place with no post-processing required, and virtually zero support structures.

In its primary orientation, it can easily hold a 2021 12.9-inch iPad Pro at several angles. Its reverse orientation can do the same for smartphones.

The cutout in the retaining joint ensures that microphones/speakers aren't blocked during FaceTime/Zoom calls and, when used in smartphone-mode, actually helps to direct sound toward the user.

3D designing and printing teaches us to expect mistakes, plan for them, fix them and try again. If you are new to 3D printing, you can expect to have more than a few prints that come out looking something like this mug.

Earth Lithopanes

This is a Earth Lithopane for you to remix.
There are different sizes 75 mm, 100 mm, 125 mm, 150 mm, 175 mm, 200 mm, 225, mm and 250 mm on there.
It's designed for an FDM printer with a 0.4 mm nozzle. You may be able to print this with bigger nozzles, if you use the layer height and width i recommend.
Print settings:
Domes are quite hard to print. I never printed this as a whole, I always cut it into pieces first.
Layer Height 0.2 mm
Layer Width 0.4 mm
No supports.
I always decrease the speed at the top of the dome (when the bridging occurs) to 50%. You can do this in Cura using the extension post-processing.
I use standard white PLA for these. If you are unsure if your filament works, just shine through the walls of the print with your phone lamp at something like 10% print completion. You should see the Lithophane effect.
