I got hooked 3D printing while building a scale model of an amusement park.  Note that since most of my models are designed with Blender, you’ll need to reduce their scale by 50% for printing.

This is a recreation of the Eli Bridge Scrambler ride that was at Mountain Park in Holyoke, MA.  It was designed for my park model:  http://www.karenandjay.com/mtpark/mpmodel/mpmodel.html

These are the ride seats.  You'll need 12 of them.

This is the ride center.  The button glues underneath the tall section.  The propeller-like section glues on top of the tall section so that all the horizontal struts line up.

If you'd like to enclose the ride, you can print out as many sections as you need.

Print four of these.  Three of them get attached to the ends of the lower arms of the center section.  For the fourth one, snip off the arms and use those as vertical spacers between the center's top and bottom arms.
