This is a set of forty-eight plane pegs compatible with Wings of Glory flight stands. These are not the flight/altitude pegs -- these pegs (or posts) are meant to be permanently attached to the bottom of a plane model. On the diagram in the gallery is marked red Sprue (waste), blue lead-in, and green pegs. To use these:

  1. Drill a roughly 1mm diameter hole (or slightly larger) in the bottom of the plane near its center of gravity, near the balance point of front-vs-back.
  2. Separate the lead-in and peg from the sprue and then trim the lead-in length to match the depth of the hole you drilled, or slightly shorter.
  3. Dry-fit the lead-in and peg.
  4. If the fit is good, you can take it apart and add some glue to the lead-in before re-inserting, to make the peg permanent.

There is also a flanged version of the peg that does not require drilling (though the joint may be of lower strength).
