This is a 1:144 scale model of a Gotha LE.3 Taube. Since many painters choose their own mounting system, no peg is included on the plane. Pegs can be purchased separately in the Accessories section of this catalog.
The Gotha LE.3 Taube was a refinement of the LE.2, with a fuselage of rectangular cross-section and a simplified undercarriage. LE3s were used for reconnaissance on all fronts in the early months of the war, as well as for their original intended use as a mild-mannered trainer. "LE" stood for "Land Eindecker" (Land Monoplane). Other than Jeanin, no manufacturer built more Tauben than Gotha.
