Yes it is very challenging to figure out what you need and how many. I would really like to see a proper usage chart.

I don't understand how this part is supposed to work. I really wish your parts included a picture of it in use.

He explains it in the video here. Permanently keeps them together in the correct alignment. Not really required.

I just found he covers it in his getting started video on youtube. it's meant to correctly space 2 dual 8mm wall connectors to more or less make a quad connector. i wish I knew about this when i was installing my board on the wall. I had the slightest bow on some of my panels and was trying to hold together corners of panels with needle nose pliers while I attached the quad front snaps. I broke MANY!
