This Easter Bunny threaded box prints in two pieces without any supports. Personally, I do use supports just on the bottom of the head though to guarantee a smoother print in that section.
Threads have been tested down to 70% scale so far and still work great.

Ive found the top internal threads aren't even attached to the model
I hadn't noticed that, all my prints so far have worked fine. I will definitely look into it though, Thanks for the heads up!
