2025 New Year String Art. I wanted to make a new year related model and its been some time since i made a string art. This went through a couple of different iterations with many test prints and fails. The 3mf project is set up and ready to go but settings are as follows. The strings must be a different colour, they tend not to print correctly if single colour. walls must be set to archane. Must be set to 0.2 layer height. With at least 15% infill so strings have something to grip onto. The lettering are all separate bodies making it easy to colour, the small stars are also separate. The balloons print on a separate plate face down. the ballon strings are delicate so be carful when removing from the plate. I’ve set a top surface (bottom surface for the balloons) of halberts curve as i think that's the best looking top surface. lastly the balloons just clip in place either side.
