This Rock Dragon was sculpted to showcase my older alpha textures, which are now free to my Patreon followers. The alpha textures are used to make sculpting brushes in the likes of Blender, Maya, and ZBrush.
Whilst the model profile is made for the larger A1 model, the provided size when printed is below 20cm in length and should fit the A1 mini as well. (Final print length is approx 17.5cm)
My examples are printed in PLA.
The model is fully print-in-place and only requires supports under the chin to keep it smooth. Everything else does not need supports, even if your slicer says it needs them; if you want to make your own print profile, paint supports under the chin manually, and do NOT use auto-generated supports.
A brim is only advised if you print it larger than the provided size and use a Textured PEI plate. Infill density has been set to 10%, and I would not recommend lowering it anymore. You can probably print this model smaller, but to maintain chainlink strength I would not recommend it. The body and tail links are all identical, so if you want to make it longer just copy and resize one of the links. Only the head, chest, and tail-tip are different.
