For those of you that have a P!P with the custom ARC enclosure here is the final piece you need to make it complete. The ARC support a plexiglass top lid but all it does is sit there. If you need to vent it it's a dangerous game shoving a deck of cards or some other object in there to prop up the lid for venting. Here is the solution! Included in this project file are 2 side brackets that replace the stock side panel clips. Then there is the support pins that actually hold the lid. Make these out of TPU to reduce noise and vibration. They get pushed through the sides of the brackets. There are 2 sets of holes for different heights. The second part to this project and that which should be printed first is the piano hinge. This allows easy movement of the lid up and down without it falling over or sliding sideways. This is a print in place object so be sure to print it as it sits in the 3mf file. ASSEMBLE it in your slicer to ensure it stays properly aligned. The hinge has a backstop on it to prevent the lid from falling backwards too far. The hinge fastens to the backside panel where the old lid guard went(remove it). This is a simple hinge and not a bolt-through hinge so don't yank on it too hard. The hinge is designed to fasten to the plexi lid with double stick tape 2mm thick. All parts should be printed as they stand in the file and require no supports. No special slicer settings are required, just make sure your settings can do chamfers and overhangs properly.
