A push fit clip designed to hold a small case. Fully parameterized Fusion360 file allowing the height and depth of the case to be defined, along with the radius of the corners (and more). 

Does not use the standard pushfit connector STEP file, but I may update with that now that they're available. Because of that it's likely not as snug a fit, but it's worked well for me so far. 

Included 3mf file fits my eyeglass case.

I didn't like existing eyeglass rests / holders because they generally had the glasses facing outwards, and for some of my glasses, the arms were too long when folded. 

This tries to solve for those issues with a pleasing design. The base and the rest are held together with a m4 screw that attaches both to either a honeycomb storage wall insert, a multiboard insert, or whatever else might be used to mount on awall.

There is a 'felt' SVG file (thangs doesn't support DXF) that can be used to cut out a piece of felt to place between the rest and the base, that way if the glasses touch the base they aren't scratched. Double sided tape can be used to secure the felt, or something that won't off gas and etch the lenses (so if you use CA glue make sure it's fully cured). 

I've included files for the base, and both a standard size rest (should work for most glasses) and one that works for my Gunnars. But if you really want a nice fit you can use the Fusion360 file and play with the parameters.

Arm Offset: Distance from the bridge of the glasses to the arms when folded.
Arm Landing: The space the arms take up when folded.
Bridge Landing: The space the bridge of the glasses takes up (including nose rest, bridge, etc).
