Buster Sword Deck Box V1.3mf
Alot of folks requested I post this FF7 inspired magic the gathering deck box. Here it is. I added spots for magnets that weren't there in the original iteration that you would see in the instagram reel below. You can use 8-8x2mm magnets to help hold the lid on. It fits 1 - 100 card single sleeved deck and a good bit of dice.
I used Bambulab PLA Silk+ Titan Grey for the metal parts and I used Bambulab PLA Metal Iridium Gold Metallic
There are 2 different handles for this right now. The thick one holds dice. It will hold a large spindown. The thin one doesn't hold dice but looks closer to the actual sword in FF7.
There has been a request for a handle that stores a playmat. I will release that version of the handle when I have it. I also have another version of this buster sword that will be uploaded here.
Let me know if you would like me to make a stand for it.
Let me know in the comments below what other deck boxes you would like to see.

Hi, ive made a few unfortunate attempts at printing this, it looks like some of the "filling" is sticking through the wall meat the point of the sword and it refuses to make a clean surface. Ive tried both main body files but it keeps showing the same.
Any possible guidance?
what printer do you own? I don't know if I've tested this on a bed slinger kind. You can also reach out to me on instagram @thatcaddad and send me pictures and I can try and help.
Hi, I'm in the middle of printing a few of these for my brother-in-law. He's going to LOVE IT.
What glue are you using to glue in the magnets? Having a hard time trying to find recommendations.
Superglue has worked for me. E6000 glue is super strong but it smells bad.
hello! i think there is a mistake on the main body of the buster sword where the threads are, there is a ball coming in through the body
The new version is uploaded. Let me know if you have any other questions.
So it looks like I printed it that way as well and I didn’t even notice it. I don’t think I can send a picture on here. But I can visibly see it on the first one I printed. I’ll get it fixed and uploaded again. Thanks for letting me know.
I just printed the 3mf and still see the little ball protruding. I don't mind it as it provides a snug fit to the handle threads and everything seems to work normally.
Was that on the 3mf file or the stl?
Oh thanks let me look at that real quick.
