This is a version of the Filament-Cutter for the SMuFF used on an Creality Ender-3 with an E3D-V6 hotend.


The latest version has improved on cable routing / mounting. Also, BL-Touch and Inductive probe mounts are sturdier now.


The front mount has got two additional M3 heat set inserts, in case you'd like to mount a different part cooling fan solution.
And now there's also an additional Filament-Cutter-Base STL that takes a M6 fitting only (no fitting adapter needed).

Filament-Cutter for Ender-3 (E3D-V6 Hotend)

This is a version of the Filament-Cutter for the SMuFF used on an Creality Ender-3 with an E3D-V6 hotend.

Updated version of my [previous model](https://thangs.com/mythangs/file/339887). 
- Blower fan mount doesn't stick out that much
- Shroud is 3 mm shorter, so the nozzle is easier to watch for the first layers
- LED-Mount integrated
- Mount for 8 mm Nozzle-Cam integrated
- New cable clamp added

This is another attempt for a Filament-Cutter Base module without servo. A bit more refined than my [previous model](https://thangs.com/mythangs/file/303244).
For this gadget to work, you'll also need the Push-Pin mounted somewhere on the 3D-Printer frame at the right position. Unfortunately, there's no "one-size-fits-all" solution to this. The shown Push-Pin will fit on a Creality CR-10 Smart gantry without modification though.

Filament-Cutter-Base-Module V4

This is another attempt for a Filament-Cutter Base module without servo. A bit more refined than my previous model.
For this gadget to work, you'll also need the Push-Pin mounted somewhere on the 3D-Printer frame at the right position. Unfortunately, there's no "one-size-fits-all" solution to this. The shown Push-Pin will fit on a Creality CR-10 Smart gantry without modification though.

This is my new motorized Spool-Rewinder, used for the SMuFF project (or other MMUs) as a replacement for the Filament-Buffer.

It's able to control up to 12 spools (in groups of 4) and it's being controlled automatically by the SMuFF controller board via I2C as needed. Hence, the Raspberry Pi Pico (RP2040) is not needed in this case.

The device uses very [small geared motors](https://www.aliexpress.us/item/1005005592968432.html) (up to 12) and (up to 3) [Waveshare Raspberry Pi Pico motor controller](https://www.waveshare.com/wiki/Pico-Motor-Driver).

It's based on my Master-Spool design for refill filaments but also comes with some adaptors for the standard plastic or cardboard spools.
