Universal Spool-Core for Spool-Rewinder
This model is an addition to my previously published Motorized Spool Rewinder (SMuFF) and can be used as an universal core for spools with a center hole from (roughly) 52-68mm. It is double hinged to ensure the best possible grip on the filament spool (up to 1kg).
Beside the printed parts you'll need two sets of dowel pins, one OD 2mm, 20-25mm and the other OD 2mm, 14-15mm in length (one set per lever/arm). Also you need three springs with OD 8mm, ID 6mm, a wire thickness of 0.8-0.9 mm and 25mm in length.
For an extra grip on the spool, I've added grooves for small rubber strips (1-2mm thick), which need to be cut to size and glued in.
Updated to a revised Motor-Mount The new model is slightly more slanted (5 deg.) and has additional parts to prevent it from sagging, caused by the weight of a full spool.
