This is functional but a work in progress

All you need (other than a 3d printer) is some 3/8 tubing and you'll have a fun summer toy!

Gasket: You can print the included gasket out of TPU or steal one from something else for the hose connection.

Print Settings: I recommend you in PETG or a material which wont get soft in the sun. Of course PLA will still work. Just don't leave it out. I did print all of the parts at 100% infill. Less will probably still work but I'll leave that up to you to try.

i also tought about making a remix like Weedeetr. I decided to make a 1/2" thread on the base for a gardena part! Great Design soloprototype!

Thanks for doing that! I'm sure some people would prefer that

Does it need support? The rocket does

Hello. Excuse my lack of knowledge, but what is this for? Fun or has some functionality? Thanks.

It's just for fun. A yard toy. If you get the water set just right, the rocket hovers and waters sprays down and around it. There are a few commercial versions of this available on Amazon / AliExpress. I recently learned Wham-O used to make similar products in the 80s. Anyhow, I wanted to challenge myself to create a 3D printed version.

I made a Remix version of it For the Gardena plug.

Nice! I need to learn about that connection. The PVC flies off with enough pressure

i imagine the tubing is for water pressure increase without putting stress on the print

Can you make the base with a hose connection, that way you don't need the 3/8 tubing...

Awesome work btw! - Holes for stakes is a great idea too! - You could always throttle it from the valve on the house.

*stakes I mean. Haha. Must be hungry

I'm sorry I didnt see this comment yesterday. Originally I did the 3/8 hose because I was planning on making a separate "throttle" of sorts by pinching it.. anyhow even with the 3/8" hose it can be difficult to get the base to lay flat. If a hose would connect to it, I fear the hose would be flipping it around because it's so light. Maybe I could add holes for steaks or something. I'll have to put some thought into it
