Custom bracket to mount a microphone to the bottom of an Acer Predator XB271HU bmiprz monitor via 5/8"-27 threads.
Design
I designed this specifically to mount a JLab Talk Go mic, but the standard threads should support anything that isn't too heavy. It slides in from the sides (v1 could clip in; v2 cannot). The design leverages the front bevel as well as the back ridges in order to stay place. The fit is pretty exact on my uncalibrated printer.
Print settings
I printed this on an Ender 3 V2 in PLA using a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm layer height. YMMV on the threads - may need thinner layers.

Updates
2021/12/31 - The part bent under stress after about six weeks and would no longer stay attached. New version attempts to solve this by thickening the part and removing perpendicular stress points. New version is now symmetrical to be more versatile and remove the need for supports.
