What filament to use for the Cute Creepy Candle Holder? We recommend:
▶Bambu PLA Basic White
OR
Painting recommendation if you use the white filament:
Base Coat: Sand the print (optional), then apply a light brown or tan base coat.
Shading: Use darker browns and blacks (rub n buff or light brown acrylic paint) for dry-brushing, focusing on recesses for depth.
Highlights: Lightly dry-brush the raised areas with white or beige acrylic for contrast.
Sealing: Finish with a matte clear coat.
Painting recommendation if you use the PLA Matte Desert filament:
Dabbing Technique: Apply a white or light tan coat using a sponge, leaving the brown filament visible in the recesses.
Shading/highlights and Sealing: Same instructions as above with the white filament.
We provided 2 different versions of the candle holder, a solid version which can hold an electric tealight candle, and a hollow version where you can place little LED lights in it to make the eyes glow up too!
IMPORTANT INFO: The size for the candle holders are suitable to hold flameless little LEDlight powered candles (1.5 inches/38mm)
PLEASE, DO NOT USE REAL CANDLES with your prints as they might melt or catch on fire!
We recommend these tealights, they fit perfectly with our Cute Creepy Candle Holder Design:
