This manta ray clicker fidget was created together with our daughter, Abbycat3D. She is an aspiring designer, and we had the pleasure of having her as an intern for the day last week.

In Danish schools, it’s a tradition for students to try out different jobs, and it usually begins with spending a day as an intern at one of their family members’ workplaces. During her internship day, we collaborated on designing this fun and tactile manta ray shaped fidget.

The design combines a playful ocean inspired shape with a satisfying clicker mechanism, making it both a small desk companion and a relaxing fidget toy.

For the clicker mechanism, you can use keyboard switches, which are widely available on most online marketplaces. Simply search for keyboard switches like the ones we used: “Kailh Keyboard Switch.”

3D PRINTING SETTINGS: I used a .4mm nozzle, .2mm layer height, I use 5% infill. Make sure your printer is all set with a good calibration and retraction before printing it.
