Summer is almost here, and it's getting really hot where I live (thanks, global warming), so I thought this would be a cool project to try.

The challenge was to make it print in place but still allow enough suction to make it work well. I think I did a pretty good job, with a little trick :)

So you only need to print 3 parts: the main body plus the pump, which come in a single STL file, and a seal for the pump.

The first thing you need to do is print the seal (membrana.stl). This should be printed in TPU.

Then you need to print the main body+pump. For this, you should enable tree supports, which are easy to remove. Also, you should insert a pause in the print after the pump is printed. Then, during the pause, you take the seal, apply some superglue (carefully, you don't want to glue the pump) and attach it to the top of the pump. Resume printing and you're done.

After printing, gently separate the pump from the main body and it should be ready to use. If the pump is a bit hard to slide, you can sand it a little bit, but as soon as you add water to the pump, it will slide much better.

Also you'll need to drill a hole in the top for the water to go in and out. It is only one layer thick. This is needed because the printer would struggle and end up printing the perimeters in mid-air, which is definitely not what you want.

All models are print-ready and oriented.

I hope you enjoy this project and have fun with your water gun. Let me know in the comments if you have any questions or suggestions. If you're interested in supporting me, please give it a like, download it, and share it with your friends. Happy printing!

PS: I've included a 3mf for Bambu Studio with the pause configured.
