Adds a simple and strong attachment mechanism for Multiboard Snap Pieces.

It introduces the ButterLock mechanism directly onto a Snap piece. This provides a snug fit, while also being very easy to attach and detach.

Directions/How-to-Use

The included Key Insert and Key Snap Housing combine to form the male side of the lock (a Multiboard Snap piece). The ButterLock Negative should then be used on the model you'd like to act as the female. The Negative has already been offset from the key by 1mm, and can therefore just be used directly as a boolean without any further offset.

In order to combine the Key Insert and the Key Snap Housing, simply push the Key Insert up through the bottom side of the Snap Housing. You will feel/hear a click, and the Insert's bottom should be flush with the Housing's. This combined pieces is then pushed into whatever space you carve out with the negative, and rotated 90 degrees for a click lock in.

Printing

ButterLock Key Insert is best printed lying flat on its side, as it gives the strongest print. The Key Snap Housing can be printed in the standard flat Multiboard Snap orientation. All can be printed without supports.
