Do the other figures you made fit into the catapult?
At least the mechanical ones (bishop and pween) don't fit. I'm not sure about the Barbie/Oppenheimer set, perhaps you could scale them down. For it to fit other pieces from the same "set" the tower's platform would have to be bigger than it's own base which would look quite strange.
Aside from that conceptual downfall, it's actually a really cleverly designed catapult. My nephew loved it.
