I’m happy to share my latest 3D print kitchen organiser. This is a stackable mug organiser designed to take up less horizontal space, in a safe but minimal way. Whether you’re a fan of tiny espresso cups, standard mugs, or those fun oversized ones, this organiser should work for you.

This design is for a scalable organiser that’s functional and quick and easy to print! An added bonus that was a welcome side effect was that it made it easier to stack small espresso cups on top of larger, wider ones.

Adjust the dimensions to stack espresso mugs, regular mugs, or even oversized ones without any hassle. For me espresso mugs are regular, and my largest mug works when I scale by 175% on the slicer. Note: Because of the shallowness of the overhang, you might need to scale Z as well as X and Y, or you will may get some over-proportionally wide overhang.

You can improve by increasing the number of walls from the standard. I print these with 6 walls and concentric top and bottom surface patterns and they turn out pretty clean.

For the normal scale, it prints quickly on a standard 3D printer without supports or brims. Standard espresso size prints in around 20m on a Bambu X1-C.

Update: Made it slightly thinner and gave it steeper sides to reduce the overhang angle so that scaling in just the XY plane doesn't require support quite so quickly.
