Elegoo Centauri Carbon - Filament Sensor Block

I wanted a filament feed system that did not stress the extruder direct drive mechanism. I want to do things that do not affect the warranty, but, greatly increase the flexibilty and performance of this printer.

This then led me to alter the Filament Runout Sensor Mount, but again, I did not want to modify the printer to affect the warranty, so found a solution to work with the current filament sensor where you only need to supply one pan head M3 * 16 screw to mount the printed block, on to the metal fixing plate that attaches to the printer. This pulls filament from a middle position of the spool instead of the near edge.

I found both the Bowden tube and sensor cable had enough play to do this without straining either. But, best to check this in advance on your own printer before installation.

All you need for this is:

1 x M3 x 16mm Pan Head Screw
