**The MATHEMATIK:**

Welcome to The MATHEMATIK, a dynamic math learning platform designed to engage and educate children in the fascinating world of numbers and mathematical operations.

The MATHEMATIK offers an interactive and hands-on approach to learning mathematics for children of all ages in an engaging and accessible way.

Start by printing a Number Base and some Number Pieces. The base is where the pieces are arranged to build the numbers allowing your child to manipulate and visualize numbers in a tangible and fun way. As your child learns, print more bases and pieces.

As your child progresses and becomes more comfortable with numbers, you can print additional bases and pieces to expand their understanding of larger digits for more complex numerical concepts.

Later on, you can enhance the experience by printing and introducing mathematical symbols to explore mathematical operations such as addition, subtraction and more.

Additionally, we've designed extra pieces to aid in practicing telling time, including the two dots segment for hours, and a slanted bar to indicate dates.

The MATHEMATIK is not just a learning tool—it's an immersive experience that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for mathematics. Whether your child is just beginning their mathematical journey or looking to deepen their understanding of mathematical concepts, The MATHEMATIK provides a fun and engaging platform for exploration and discovery.

**The MATHEMATIK Cards:**

Unlock the full potential of math learning with The MATHEMATIK Cards—a versatile and engaging addition to The MATHEMATIK platform.

One option is to print cards featuring individual numbers. Your child can draw a card and then use the 3D printed Base and Pieces to replicate the number shown on the card. This activity not only helps improve their number recognition skills but also allows them to practice arranging the pieces to form different numbers.

Another exciting option is to create cards with mathematical equations. For added challenge, you can omit certain elements of the equation, such as the result, a number, or the mathematical symbols. This encourages critical thinking and problem-solving as your child figures out how to complete the equation.

But don't stop there—get creative and design your own challenges! Whether it's creating patterns, solving puzzles, or inventing new games, the possibilities are endless with The MATHEMATIK Cards.

Share your innovative challenges and ideas with the community as a remix of The MATHEMATIK project, inspiring others to join in on the math learning fun!

**Parts Variations:**

For the Number Base, two variations are available: one with round pegs and another with chamfered pegs. This allows flexibility for those who may encounter printing issues with round shapes.

As for the Symbols, there are three options. Symbols A feature holes underneath to sit on top of the Number Base. Note that there are both Round and Chamfer versions to correspond with the respective Number Base designs. Symbols B, on the other hand, have notches designed for interconnection with a Number Base.

Choose the option that best suits your printing capabilities and preferences!

**Printing Recommendation:**

The MATHEMATIK is best printed using the following settings:

Nozzle: 0.4mm
Layer height: 0.3mm
Walls (perimeter): 3 (1.2mm)
Top and Bottom Layers: 4 (1.2mm)
Infill: Gyroid (or preferred option) with a 3 to 4mm gap or as needed
You can pause the printing process before the symbol is printed to change the filament color if desired, of use a multi material printer.

For safety and durability, we recommend using PETG or stronger materials.

**Details**
Using the [snap ](https://thangs.com/designer/Keep%20Making/3d-model/Multiboard%20Snap-974295)as base for my remix, I added 2 notches at the bottom of it so it can be removed with the great [removal tool](https://thangs.com/designer/Keep%20Making/3d-model/Offset%20Snaps%20Removal%20Tool-993368) provided. Everything else remains as the original design.

I also made a flat version.

Keep Making has come up with an awesome mounting board that's seriously impressive. If you haven't heard of [Multiboard ](https://www.multiboard.io/)yet, you need to check it out ASAP!

The original design is cool, but I decided to tweak it a bit to better fit my needs. Initially, it had an 8mm gap between the tiles and the wall for running cables behind it, but I changed it to just 2.6mm. This not only prints faster but also saves some filament.

Now, there are two versions you should know about: **DUAL** and **QUAD**.

**For the DUAL version:** it's for connecting two Multiboard tiles, and there's an **A **and a **B **version. **A **goes on the back of the tiles, where you stick the Command Strip, while **B **goes on the front for a nicer look. Just a heads up, they might look similar to the original design, but I based them on the CROSS Quad piece. So, make sure to download my versions (A and B), as they won't work with the regular "Dual Snap Connectors" and "Dual Command Strip Mount."
Check the pictures to understand the difference on the pegs.

As for the QUAD version: I've only uploaded the A version because that's the one I made changes to. You can grab the B version from here.

**An amazing game inspired on the famous Tetris.

**News:**
- **12/15/2023:** “Testris_TS_…” is a travel size version at 50% of the original size. NOT TESTED. Please let me know if you print it. 
- **12/14/2023:** @Shiraus_1070102 mentioned he/she printed at 75% and if works great. Consider that if you want to save time/filament and/or print a travel set.
- **10/30/2023:** @KyleGoeken_809075 suggested a dice with 8 sides (D8) one for each possible piece orientation, having a specific face for S/Z and also J/L. That's a total of 7 faces, the 8th face is blank and can be used as “skip/pass turn” or “use any piece you want”, even maybe “remove one piece from the seesaw”. Use your imagination and try new possibilities. Lay flat the blank face on the printing bed better results
- **10/25/2023:** “Dice_Insert.stl” uploaded for those who want to print it using different colors.
- **10/20/2023:** Uploaded file “Letters_Insert.stl”. The name says everything. The letters and the negative are 0.8mm, you can scale it up or down on the vertical axis to adjust in case you want it sticking out.
- **10/17/2023:** Upon Ms. Kitty's suggestion (@Pspspspspsps), I've uploaded a version called "Tetris_Gangorra_Emboss" with the logo sticking out by 0.6mm for easier color changes.
    Another version, "Tetris_Gangorra_Deboss," features the logo sticking down, resembling the pictures.
    Additionally, I've introduced a hollow seesaw version.

Enjoy this fun and challenging Tetris-inspired balance game. To play, print your game pieces (at least 3 sets recommended), roll the dice, and stack the corresponding piece for an exciting surprise. The objective is to build the tallest stack without it toppling over.
There are D6 and D8 dices, read the update on 10/30/2023 for more information.

Check out the "Tetris_Gangorra_Emboss" for easier color changes, "Tetris_Gangorra_Deboss" for a different look, and a hollow base version. Feedback is welcome!

No secret printing here, use enough infill just to get a good top layer on the base.
I printed with white PLA and painted it with Apple Barrel acrylic paint. Have a blast!

@Gilcher_605986 had an amazing idea. He printed the S parts in 2 color to make it easier on people to play the right side. Besides that, you don't need to make as many S's
